MOOYI Attends Australian Sheep Meat Butchery Demonstration & Luncheon to Deepen Industrial Linkages and Resource Collaboration

On the morning of April 28th, 2026, Mr. Ou Yang, Executive Director, and Catherine, Operations Manager of MOOYI INTERNATIONAL HOLDING LIMITED (“MOOYI”), were invited to attend the Australian Sheep Meat Butchery Demonstration and Luncheon held at the Renaissance Hong Kong Harbour View Hotel. Co-hosted by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission and Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), the event gathered a wide range of professional institutions, trading enterprises, and government officials involved in Australian red meat industry.

The MOOYI team actively participated in all interactive and exchange sessions throughout the event. During the occasion, MOOYI representatives observed an on-site professional sheep meat butchery demonstration conducted by Mr. Gong Wenbin, industry expert from MLA. In-depth discussions were held with Mr. Gong and Oscar, MLA Hong Kong Business Development Manager, focusing on cutting techniques, quality grading standards, fresh-keeping technologies and other technical details. Both sides exchanged professional insights on optimization of product specifications, cutting adaptability and market demand trends, laying a solid practical foundation for MOOYI’s subsequent sourcing of Australian sheep resources and enrichment of its product portfolio.

During the luncheon, the MOOYI team engaged in friendly communications with Ms. Liu Bing, Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner & Deputy Consul- General (Business) of the Australian Consulate-General, and Jackson Pang, Business Development Manager. The parties exchanged initial views on Australian red meat import policies and trade facilitation matters, establishing a formal government-enterprise communication channel. Meanwhile, the MOOYI team actively interacted with multiple Hong Kong-based representatives of Australian local government agencies, including Chen Shupei, NSW Trade and Investment Director, and Gary Kwan, Head of Business Development(Trade) from Trade and Investment Queensland (Hong Kong & Macau). The two sides reached preliminary consensus on market channel layout and cooperation models for Australian sheep business, creating favorable conditions for MOOYI’s further expansion in the Australian sheep sector.

Furthermore, MOOYI conducted in-depth exchanges with representatives of numerous meat trading enterprises present at the event. The participants jointly discussed the current meat market situation, consumer trends and industry development challenges, while sharing operational experience and resource advantages. MOOYI successfully expanded its pool of potential business partners, further broadening its industry network and business layout in the global meat trade sector.
