A Rewarding Experience at Anuga 2025 in Cologne, Germany

01 Vibrant Exhibition, Bustling Atmosphere

From October 4th to 8th, 2025, the global food and beverage industry converged on Cologne, Germany, for the grand opening of the biennial Anuga – the leading international trade fair for the sector. This premier event reached an unprecedented scale, attracting thousands of exhibitors and 160,000 professional visitors from around the world, creating a bustling atmosphere brimming with business opportunities. Mr. Ou Yang, Executive Director of MOOYI INTERNATIONAL HOLDING LIMITED (“MOOYI”), led a delegation including Ms. Lareina Lin and Ms. Sandy Wu from the International Business Department. Their mission was to source higher quality and healthier animal protein products, while  actively participating in this significant industry gathering.

 

02 In-Depth Engagement, Mutual Development

Throughout the fair, the MOOYI team immersed themselves in the industry extravaganza and engaged in a series of intensive meetings with manufacturing suppliers. These face-to-face interactions strengthened emotional bonds with partners, reinforced strategic collaborations, and facilitate deep-dive discussions on market trends, enabling the team to stay abreast of the latest industry developments. During this process, the MOOYI team established closer cooperative relationships with many internationally renowned meat processors.

  • Uruguayan Est. 150: The MOOYI team reunited with representatives from Uruguayan Est. 150 for in-depth commercial discussions. Both parties conducted a detailed analysis of the current market situation and shared a positive outlook on future collaboration, exchanging industry experience and information productively and congenially.

 

  • Brazilian Meat Processors: In the Brazilian pavilion, the MOOYI team conducted visits to several leading plants, including SIF941, SIF1925, SIF3215, SIF2437, JBS S.A., SIF4554, and SIF1811. Each meeting was characterized by warmth and enthusiasm, serving not only to consolidate existing partnerships but also to explore future cooperative directions in detail.

 

  • AFFCO New Zealand: The exchange with New Zealand’s meat industry leader, AFFCO, was equally impressive. Both sides held detailed consultations regarding the import and export of high-quality meat products, expressing mutual anticipation for achieving great success together in the future.

 

  • JBS Australia: The MOOYI team held a cordial meeting with representatives from JBS Australia. Discussions covered global meat market dynamics and supply chain optimization. As a global leader in the meat industry, JBS Australia commended MOOYI’s professional expertise in supply chain management and quality control, expressing a strong desire to further cooperation.

 

  • Argentine Flavor Expedition: In the Argentine pavilion, the MOOYI team was invited to sample authentic Argentine beef. They also held friendly talks with representatives from OFFAL EXP S.A. (4407), ECOCARNES S.A. (1918), and Arre Beef S.A. (2082), jointly exploring new potential opportunities for cooperation.

 

03 Capturing Moments, Cementing Friendships

During the exhibition, the MOOYI team also took valuable group photos with Chinese importers and the organizers of Anuga. These photographs serve not only as a testament to the fruitful outcomes of this participation but also as a symbol of the promising future collaborations to come.
